Probably better than expected for the price. Worked fine and convincing enough given intentionally dark use and some focus call-off from subject to background.

I took Easter portraits of a church with this backdrop and two soft box lights. Everyone absolutely loved them! With a little bit of photoshop help it really gives the look and feel of wood! I love it! But might buy a different size next time.

Everyone loved the backdrop. One of our guests thought it was real wood. It was wrinkled but we didn’t iron it and it still looked great. I bought some sheer curtains to help cover up the stand. The backdrop would’ve been lower on the floor but we had it up a little too high.

Awesome backdrop for videos! I mainly use these photo backdrops for YouTube videos/recording to keep it looking clean/minimal looking and hide any personal background from my bedroom. These work SO well for that (as I'm sure for just photo taking) and I like to order the bigger size (7x5FT) to fully cover both sides with lots of extra room! I like the dark wood effect and it does come folded so please beware that there will be creases in the material. But just iron it, creases will go.

So when I first unpacked this, I wasn't sure. It didn't look quite like the photos made it look and it felt like a table cover.
Once I put it up and smoothed out the wrinkles, however, it looked a little better, but I wasn't convinced.
Then I took a couple pictures and was amazed by how it somehow looked like real wood in the photos. Switch to my recording camera and you'd swear I just put up new wood panels. This really can't be beat for the money if you're looking for a static wood panel backdrop for pictures or video.
I will warn, if you're trying to give an in-person, wood feel - I would look around. This looks "okay" live, but it really pops for photo and video.
